Ruinsara Tal Trek

I am planning to go for Har Ki Doon trek, I have some experience of mountaineering. Trek will be done with some help from guides,we can talk to locals there for more information.I will be carrying my tent and sleeping bag along with other luggage. Following is the itinerary for the trip

Har ki Dun/Doon is valley situated in foothills of Fateh Parvat. Place has height of 3556 m , is surrounded by green lush ground and not much explored area. One has to trek to the place starting from Netwar. There is GMVN guest house at the place which can be booked before going there.

16th April: Dehradun to Sankri by bus. It is 7-8 hour drive: Sankri is place situated on way to Uttarkashi. Bus will pass through MORI village.

17th: Sankri to Taluka : it will be trek of 12-13 Km and should be done in 5-6 hours and later part of the day can be spent in setting up tent and visiting the village. As height increase temperature also decreases which makes this place good to spend some time.

18th: Taluka to Osla: Place has height of arnd 2500 m where one reaches after trek of 12Km. Place has GMVN guest house. Evening will be spent visiting the village and having some time on your own.

19th Osla to Har ki Doon: Final trek of 11Km will lead us to Har Ki Doon. One can also go beyond from here for Debshu Bugyal or Ruinsara Tal

20th Har ki Doon – Osla: Back Trek (we will try to come by some other way also if possible)

21th Osla-Taluka: We will visit Duryodhana temple in the morning. This temple is famous and people from all over world come here to worship Duroyodhana, kaurva putra in MAHARBHARTA.

22th Taluka to Sankri and bus back to Dehradun (try to reach Dehradun by 7 in evening)
